Are you losing the fish because the hook not Sharp?

One of the things that many fishers neglect care is the hook.

Have you ever lost a big fish that was and was wondering why? Perhaps, the hook was not strong. If you brushpiles, gravel beds, fish rockpiles, log jams, bridge piles, timber and boat docks that you should check the hooks for sharpness. Sharpening tool should be a normal part of your tackle box.

If you are on your way to fish and do not have a Sharpener go for a drug store and get a nail file-diamond powder in a drug store. It is important to check the sharpness of hooks, each time getting snagged.

Behold how I test my hooks for sharpness: take the stem of the hook in one hand and gently put the point on the preview, not to apply any force or any kind of pressure. Now, try to move the hook through the preview, if you dig then hook is strong also use this method for my pocket knife for testing the sharpness. Sharp Hooks can make fishing trip a success or a failure, one of the great must not quit when you have a strong hook.
